AUSTIN, Texas (KCBD) – Texas Mutual Insurance Company has awarded nearly $300,000 in grant funding to several Lubbock nonprofits serving students and families across the South Plains.
The grants are part of Texas Mutual’s $8 million investment in nonprofit organizations across the state.
This year’s Lubbock recipients include Communities in Schools of the South Plains, Catholic Charities of Lubbock and Lubbock Impact.
Communities in Schools of the South Plains said it will use the funding to provide structured, supervised, out-of-school time programming across several campuses.
