Lockheed Martin, which manufactures the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter in west Fort Worth, saw a sales increase of 11% this quarter.

Lockheed Martin sales increased 11%, up to $20.1 billion for its second quarter of the year, compared to $18.2 billion in the second quarter of 2025.
Net earnings this quarter were $1.8 billion, and up to $7.94 per share. This time last year, net earnings were at $342 million, and $1.46 per share. The company’s free cash flow this quarter was $2.9 billion, up from $150 million in 2025.
Lockheed Martin CEO and President Jim Taiclet said in a statement that the company’s growth reflects increased customer demand and its new security strategy.
“We are delivering on our strategy, achieving a higher trajectory for our business and giving us confidence to raise our full year financial guidance,” Taiclet said, adding that Lockheed Martin anticipates a year-over-year sales growth of around 8%.
The company’s aeronautics division is based in Fort Worth, and was awarded $879 million by the Department of War in May to support F-35 aircraft delivery schedules.
