DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Three men were charged last week in connection with separate investigations into inappropriate acts and distribution of materials involving minors, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.
23-year-old Christopher Cole Hilson of Wicksburg, 20-year-old Aaron Lucas Goram of Enterprise and 33-year-old Christopher Brian Davis were each arrested on what totals to around 41 charges of sexually exploiting children.
Hilson was charged with four counts of attempted dissemination of child pornography.

The investigation that led to this arrest began in Dale County but was transferred over to HCSO on July 10 after a tip from International Crimes Against Children (ICAC) surrounding the purchase and passing along online of child sexual abuse material.
Investigators were able to pinpoint this illegal transaction to a home in the 6800 block of Judge Logue Road in Wicksburg, as well as a home in the 100 block of 4th Street in Midland City.
Search warrants were issued and, on July 20, executed at both addresses and Hilson was ultimately taken into custody.
Hilson was booked into the Houston County Jail on bonds totaling $45,000 and has since been released, according to records.
Goram was charged with one count of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, two counts of first-degree rape, one count of second-degree rape and one count of dissemination/display of child pornography.

On July 20, HCSO opened an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor, with investigators quickly acting to conduct multiple interviews and documents various pieces of evidence and facts collected from their findings.
With the assistance of the Enterprise Police Department and Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, officials were able to locate Goram, who was found to be the suspect party based on the investigation, at his home on Star Street in Enterprise.
Goram was arrested and is currently booked in the Houston County Jail without bond.
Davis was charged with 32 counts of possession/dissemination of child pornography.

HCSO received a tip on April 29 from ICAC about several files being requested on an AI platform that contained child sexual abuse material.
Investigators were able to link these requests and downloads to a pair of homes in the area, one in the 8500 block of County Road 99 in Henry County and one in the 1100 block of East Saunders Road in Houston County.
Davis was ultimately arrested with this investigation and booked into the Houston County Jail on bonds totaling $960,000. He has since been released, according to records.
All three of these cases remain under investigation by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and additional charges are expected.
