Maverick-Hog will host an honor ride this weekend to remember Private Isabella Gonzales.

Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano will hold a vigil for Pvt. Isabella Gonzales this weekend on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Gonzales, a Carrollton local, died in an Iranian air strike in Jordan earlier this month.
The vigil and memorial service at Prestonwood Baptist Church will be at 3 p.m on Saturday, with more details to be released on the church’s communication platforms. Details about her upcoming funeral will be released as the U.S. Army finalizes plans. The funeral may not be open to the public, according to the City of Carrollton marketing manager.
There will also be an Honor Ride for Gonzales at 11 a.m on Saturday. The ride is sponsored by Maverick-Hog and will begin at the Maverick Harley-Davidson dealership in Carrollton. All proceeds from the ride will go to the Carrollton American Legion to support the family.
