The 12U team has a chance to go back to the Little League World Series
HOUSTON – For the third straight year, the Lamar Little League baseball team won the state championship at the 12U level. Next week, they’ll play in the Southwest Regional in Waco with a chance to make it back to the Little League World Series in Williamsport for the second straight year.
The team is full of personality and characters, which the coaching staff manages by letting them be themselves. But when it’s time to focus on the game ahead, this team quickly changes its tune and gets the job done.
