A San Antonio police officer is accused of using an unlawful tracking device.
Officer Richard Boyle turned himself in Wednesday to face a charge of unlawful installation of a tracking device, a class A misdemeanor, San Antonio police said.
Officials said that the charge stems from an incident that occurred in March while Boyle was off-duty. SAPD did not elaborate on what occurred.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
