LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A Texas man has been arrested after being accused of having sexually explicit communications with a 12-year-old, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Spokeswoman Kayla Vincent says detectives with their Special Victims Unit began investigating a report they received in September 2025 that an older man was communicating with a 12-year-old girl through a gaming network, and later through text messages.
During their investigation, detectives say they were able to obtain forensic evidence showing communication with Justin S. Lackey, 43, of Boerne, Texas. Detectives say they found numerous messages that contained inappropriate and sexually suggestive comments.
