LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Two people were seriously injured after a car crashed into a home in east Lubbock Thursday afternoon.
Just before 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of East Colgate Street for multiple reports of a car crashing into a house.
Upon arrival, officers found the driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Dorthia Robinson, and a resident of the home, 55-year-old Antionette White, with injuries.
Robinson and White were both taken to UMC with serious injuries.
Investigators say it appears Robinson lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel onto the curb before continuing across the 300 block of North Aspen St. before crashing into the house.
