EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A teenage girl was arrested Thursday after authorities said she was doing donuts in an empty parking lot in Far East El Paso before losing control and wrecking the car.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Kaely Ochoa was arrested and charged with reckless driving after investigators identified her as the driver who was speeding and making 360-degree turns in a parking lot located on the 12200 block of Ashtabula Avenue on Wednesday.

Authorities believe Ochoa– while pulling off the stunts– lost control of the car and hit a curb, causing the car to flip over and end up wheels up.

The Sheriff’s office said there were six other people in the car with Ochoa when the stunt went wrong; luckily, they appear to have only suffered minor injuries.
