FORT WORTH – Eddie Carroll Morris, Sr., 89, passed away on July 28, 2026. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at West Freeway Church of Christ, 1900 S. Las Vegas Trail, Fort Worth, Texas 76108; with a visitation one hour prior to service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment: 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, in Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Eddie Carroll Morris was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, devoted church and community member, and a proud supporter of his beloved Brewer High School. He was known for his calm and steady manner, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to his family, his church, and his community. He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife, Dorothy Griggs Morris; and his sons, Rodger Clifton Morris and Eddie Carroll Morris Jr. Eddie is survived by his wife, Carolyn White; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Richard Stobart; daughter-in-law, Kelcey Morris; stepson and son-in-law, Jeffrey White and Larry Hale; and stepdaughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Rick Kempe. He was a loving grandfather to Meagan Morris, Sydney Stobart, Mitchell Kempe, and his wife, Rebekah, and Luke Morris; as well as his three special girls, great-grandaughters, River, Presley, and Finley Kempe. Eddie was also survived by his sisters, Marilyn Draper and Debbie Hayes; and many nieces and nephews. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of wit, humor and compassion will live on through his family and many friends.
