Close to 17,000 El Paso Electric customers affected by widespread outages

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso Electric is experiencing a multiple outage event that is impacting over 16,000 customers.

As of 4:46 p.m., there are a total of 70 outages according to El Paso Electric’s outage map.

KFOX14/CBS4 has reached out to El Paso Electric to ask for more information on whether these outages are weather related.
