Transfers from Fort Worth Arlington Heights and Mansfield Summit are set to play for Fort Worth All Saints football, head coach Aaron Beck told the Star-Telegram on Saturday.
The two athletes are Heights transfer Carmelo Carter and Mansfield Summit transfer quarterback Brailon Davis. Both are in the class of 2028 and have the offensive tools to make a huge impact as All Saints aims for three consecutive TAPPS Division II state titles.
Carter played quarterback for the Yellow Jackets in a historic season. He led Heights to the third round of the UIL playoffs, somewhere it hadn’t been since 1973. He will not play quarterback for the Saints, but they will certainly utilize his elite speed across the field.
He runs a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, according to his X profile. As a sophomore with Heights, he tallied 1,800 all-purpose yards and 30 total touchdowns. Beck said the team is really excited about Carter joining the squad.
Davis, who has a Syracuse offer, will take the reins as the Saints’ next quarterback with a pro style. Plenty of talented players have been drawn to the spot in recent years, with the Saints previous quarterbacks being Aledo transfer Gavin Beard, Trinity Valley transfer Gavin Parkhurst and eventual DeSoto QB Kelden Ryan.
He’s competed in national showcases with the potential to take his recruiting to another level. At the You Are Athlete All-American showcase, he earned the overall quarterback MVP honor.
“[Davis] will be our QB for the next two years, which is kind of nice for us,” Beck said.
Beck said the Saints’ last four quarterbacks have only been with the program for one season. Davis, with a 6-foot-4 frame, will bring the team some rare continuity in an important position.
“We are excited about Brailon [Davis],” Beck said.
Fort Worth All Saints also has two more transfers set to make a huge impact: sophomore standouts tight end Noah Tarrant, who transferred from El Paso, and running back Brayden Boults, who previously played at Crestwood High School in South Carolina.
Tarrant has 24 college offers, including ones from Georgia, LSU, Michigan, TCU and more. Boults boasts offers 37 from Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and more.
In 2026, Fort Worth All Saints will look to continue a 28-game win streak and will open their season Aug. 21 at home against Division I power Dallas Parish Episcopal.
