“I can’t believe it’s already time to welcome Baby George into the world,” Brown wrote on social media. “We are so excited to officially become a family of four! I’ll be off for a short time while I soak up this special time with my boys, but I’ll be back on KPRC later this fall!”

In a follow-up video posted Friday, Brown assured viewers they will still see her on social media during her leave because she recorded weather updates in advance.

“So that means you’re still gonna see me popping up in your feed while I’m gone,” she said. “Just know those videos were recorded ahead of time and I’ll actually be at home soaking up all the newborn snuggles.”

Brown added that she plans to share a baby update when she’s able.

The Houston native and husband Jack Chadderdon welcomed their first son, Jack Jr., known as “JJ,” in February 2025. A year later, Brown announced she was expecting another boy. At the time, she told Chron she was excited that her sons would be about 18 months apart.

“I’m the youngest of four and my parents had all of us close in age,” Brown said. “We grew up as best friends, and that has been such a great gift going through life with them.”

Brown and Chadderdon married in March 2024 after getting engaged in Miami the previous year.

Brown joined KPRC in 2021 from WeatherNation in Denver after earlier stops in Tulsa, Okla. A Houston native, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in meteorology and minors in mathematics and broadcast journalism. She also interned at KPRC in 2017 before returning to the station as a member of its weather team.
