EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two teenagers are accused of hiding inside a Macy’s store at Cielo Vista Mall until employees left for the night before breaking into and stealing from a Sunglass Hut kiosk.

According to El Paso police, the two teens hid inside the changing area of the Macy’s on the evening of Friday, June 26.

After the store closed and employees had left around 10:48 p.m., the teenagers came out of hiding and went to the Sunglass Hut Kiosk searching through the display cabinets and counter.

The pair sole four pairs of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, totaling to $1,836 according to police.

Police say the first suspect was seen in security footage looking at the glasses from the kiosk on a separate day from the crime. The first suspect is described to be in their late teens, either white or Hispanic, with an “Edgar-style haircut with highlights” and glasses.

The second suspect looks to also wears glasses and looks to be in his late teens but has a slightly thinner build.
