Six teens are facing charges after a paintball prank in west Houston, according to Constable Terry Allbritton.

HOUSTON — Six teens are facing a felony criminal mischief charge after a paintball prank in west Houston, according to Harris County Pct. 5 Constable Terry Allbritton.

Allbritton said deputies with his office responded to reports that two homes in the Memorial area, one located on Pebblebrook Drive and one on Perthshire Road, had been damaged after pranksters shot them multiple times with paintball guns.

Deputies reportedly got a description of the car used in the pranks and were able to track down the teens. In the car, deputies found several paintball guns as well as fireworks.

Allbritton said the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of criminal mischief for each of the six teens found in the car and they were taken into custody. The teens are expected in court sometime on Friday.

The arrests caught a lot of attention on social media, with people claiming this all stems from the rivalry between Memorial and Stratford high schools.
