Woman in her 60s killed after two-vehicle crash on the North Side, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A woman in her 60s died after a two-vehicle crash on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.

Officers received a call at about 11 a.m. Monday for a reported T-bone crash at an intersection.

The woman was coming out of a neighborhood when her vehicle was struck by a teen driver.

The woman became trapped inside her vehicle. After she was extricated, life-saving measures were performed, but she died at the scene.

The teen driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Each vehicle had one occupant.

The investigation remains ongoing.
