LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A federal court has delayed sentencing for a San Antonio financial advisor who pleaded guilty to her role in a suspected Ponzi scheme involving Lubbock investors.
Brooklyn Chandler Willy pleaded guilty to six counts of wire fraud, along with charges of aggravated identity theft and conspiracy. She had previously been scheduled for sentencing at the end of next month. Her sentencing is now set for Monday, December 14.
Willy admitted to working on a suspected Ponzi scheme involving two other financial advisors from Lubbock — Joshua Allen and Michael Cox of Ferrum Capital. Both Allen and Cox have pleaded not guilty.
