Repair work on a broken water main at the corner of Belt Line Road and Plano Road in Richardson is planned for Aug. 5-8, according to a news release from the city.

What you need to know

The original break in the middle of the intersection occurred “about two weeks ago,” the release states, and the line was isolated and shut off.

Drivers will see the following traffic impacts:

No right turn on southbound Plano, and one through lane openOne left-turn lane instead of two open on northbound Plano and eastbound Belt LineOne through lane and one right-turn lane open on westbound Belt Line

No water service impacts are expected during the repair.
