Travelers heading west on I-10 will want to find a different route. The Seguin Police Department reported a traffic alert at 5:50 p.m. that has shut down all westbound lanes near Seguin and East Highway 90.
Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area and user alternate routes as an 18-wheeler was spotted engulfed in flames. Details are limited at this time, but traffic reporting website SigAlert shows a slowdown in the area.

Photos from the scene showed black smoke billowing from the scene and and flames alongside the frontage road from from the overpass above.
