A man was stabbed and injured during an argument with a woman early Tuesday at a west Fort Worth apartment complex, police said.

Officers were called to the 8100 block of Calmont Avenue about 4:15 a.m. They found a man with an injured leg. Police said the female suspect was already gone by the time they arrived.

The incident stemmed from the man asking the woman to leave the apartment, according to police. She grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the upper right leg.

The injured man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police said. The suspect was still at large Tuesday morning.
