Celebrate the Arts returns to the Courtyard Theater on Aug. 15, bringing together musicians, dancers, actors and visual artists for a full day celebrating Plano’s vibrant arts community.
Presented by Collaborative Arts of Plano (CAP), the annual event showcases performances and exhibitions from the nonprofit’s member organizations. Now in its fifth year, Celebrate the Arts continues to grow with afternoon and evening programming designed for audiences of all ages.
A Full Day Of Arts And Entertainment
This year’s celebration features two ticketed performances:
Children’s Matinee | 2:30 p.m. | $10
Evening Performance | 7 p.m. | $20
Throughout the day, audiences can experience performances representing Plano’s diverse arts community, from music and dance to theater and visual arts.
Collaborative Arts of Plano is a nonprofit organization made up of more than 25 member arts organizations dedicated to promoting and strengthening the arts throughout the community.
Among those participating is the ArtCentre of Plano, a nonprofit arts organization that has served Plano since 1981 through exhibitions, educational programming, family events and community activities.
Celebrate the Arts takes place Aug. 15 at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Ave., Plano.
