SAN ANTONIO – One resident has been hospitalized after a fire on the city’s Westside.
The fire occurred around 5:10 p.m. near NW 24th St and Delgado St.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, the fire broke out in a small home. One resident was rescued by firefighters and treated by EMS, where they were eventually taken to the hospitalized.
The resident suffered first and second degree burns, but was breathing and talking. Smoking materials may have contributed to the fire.
