A grand opening is set for Aug. 7 at Legacy East
Maman, the French-inspired café from New York City known for its pastries, coffee and charming interiors, will open its newest North Texas location at Legacy East on Aug. 7. The Plano café marks the brand’s third North Texas location, joining existing spots in the Park Cities and Lakewood.
Located at 7200 Bishop Road, Suite D, the new café is designed as an all-day gathering place for everything from morning coffee runs to casual lunches and afternoon meetings.
The café will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting at 8 a.m. The first 100 guests who make a purchase will receive a complimentary tote bag and classic chocolate chip cookie. Later that day, from 1 to 3 p.m., guests can visit a charm bar hosted by Charmed Haven, where the first 50 guests who spend $15 or more will receive a complimentary croissant charm.

”We’re so excited to continue growing in the Dallas area with our newest location in Plano,” said co-founder Elisa Marshall. “Legacy East has such an incredible energy and strong sense of community, making it the perfect home for maman. We can’t wait to welcome both longtime guests and new neighbors into the space to enjoy coffee, pastries and meaningful moments together.”
French Flair With A Texas Twist
While maman brings its signature French café feel to Plano, the Legacy East location will feature several menu items created specifically for North Texas guests.
Highlights include the Magnolia Sweet Tea Fizz, made with cold-steeped magnolia bud tea, Topo Chico, Texas wildflower honey syrup, lemon and fresh mint; the Lone Star Cinnamon Bun topped with vanilla glaze and a signature pastry star; and the Salted Caramel Pecan Pie Roll featuring toasted Southern pecans and salted caramel.
The café’s design will reflect maman’s signature South of France-inspired style, with vintage furnishings, warm wood accents and the brand’s recognizable blue toile details. Floral installations from Floratorium will add a Texas touch, inspired by the state’s iconic bluebonnets.
More Than A Café
Beyond coffee and pastries, maman has grown into a lifestyle brand with a collection of retail products, coffee, tea and matcha offerings, merchandise, a bestselling cookbook and nationwide cookie shipping.
The Plano location will also feature special collaborations, including seasonal offerings and products from its partnership with Martha Stewart.
The café will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends, with the kitchen closing daily at 4 p.m.
