Dallas residents worried about cuts to library hours, parks and other city services have a chance to speak up this month.
Beginning Aug. 11, residents will have the opportunity to weigh in on the city’s proposed $5.6 billion budget before the City Council adopts a spending plan that will shape services for the next year.
The meetings come after months of difficult budget discussions that included employee furloughs, proposed service reductions and concerns over the future of libraries, Dallas City Hall and other services.
