LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 69-year-old David Mendez.
Police say because of his medical diagnoses and need for medication, there is concern for Mendez’s welfare due to his extended absence.
Mendez was last seen after 2 p.m. near the 5400 block of Avenue A. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds, with gray and black hair, a gray beard and hazel eyes.
Mendez was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with “Hollister” on the front, black shorts and black house shoes with a Texas Longhorn logo.
If you see Mendez or know where he may be, police ask that you call 911 or the Lubbock Police Department’s non-emergency number at 806-775-2865.
Police say Mendez does not meet the criteria for a Silver Alert at this time.
