Trinity Metro has announced that Fort Worth Independent School District high school students will once again be allowed to ride public transportation for free following a successful pilot program in the previous school year.
Registered FWISD high school students in grades 9-12 can ride Trinity Metro buses, TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) within Tarrant County free of charge.
“Students may use Trinity Metro services for more than just riding to school and back,” Trinity Metro said. “Trips may be used to reach work, to run errands, attend social/entertainment functions, go to medical appointments … really about anything!”
