Two men face charges after allegedly robbing a south Fort Worth gas station and convenience store and assaulting the employees on Thursday night, Aug. 6, police say.

Two men are in custody after allegedly stealing items from a south Fort Worth convenience store and assaulting the employees the night of Thursday, Aug. 6, police said.
The incident occurred at Penny’s Food and Fuel, located at 3621 Sycamore School Road, shortly before 10:30 p.m. The suspects appeared intoxicated, according to police, and at least one of the men started grabbing things from the store and stuffing them into his clothes.
The store employees who tried to intervene were physically assaulted, police said. The two men then left the scene before officers could arrive.
Police said they located the suspects’ vehicle and tried to question the men. One of the suspects pushed an officer away from the second suspect, who ran away.
Both men were finally apprehended and booked into the Fort Worth City Jail. Police records identify the men as 24-year-old Trevon Waller and 25-year-old Quynton Earle. Waller faces charges of robbery and evading arrest and Earle faces charges of robbery and interference with public duties.
