DALLAS (KDAF) — Dignitas and MIKE AND IKE® announced a five-year renewal of their partnership, marking the launch of a new national campaign focused on the Fortnite community. The “We Got’chew” initiative includes community tournaments, merchandise giveaways and an in-person coaching bootcamp for amateur players.

The partnership between Dignitas, the esports vertical of New Meta Entertainment, Inc., and the Just Born, Inc. brand began in July 2022. During the past four years, the collaboration has reached more than 10 major gaming events and earned a nomination for UEFN Map of the Year for the “Bugha’s Endgame” project. The brands have also generated billions of impressions within the Fortnite ecosystem.

The campaign begins on Aug. 8 with the MIKE AND IKE Flavor Brawl Bootcamp at the University of Texas at Dallas. Held at the Comet LANding Center, the two-day event will provide amateur Fortnite players with coaching from Dignitas professional players in a structured learning environment. Participants will receive specialized instruction designed to improve their skills within the game.

Additional community tournaments will be held through the DIGFort Discord and X accounts, leading to a grand finals watch party hosted by a professional player. In October, creator AussieAntics will return to host and stream a major Flavor Brawl tournament live on Twitch. The broadcast will include dedicated segments and custom brand integrations within a UEFN map.

A sweepstakes associated with the campaign will award two fans an all-expense-paid trip to the Fortnite Worlds. Winners will be equipped with POV cameras to capture and share their experiences during the trip. A separate co-branded giveaway will also provide five participants with bundles containing product and Dignitas merchandise.

The first community tournament is scheduled for late September, preceding the FNCS Worlds on Sept. 26-27. Further details regarding the October tournament broadcast will be released on the Dignitas social media channels.
