Police are investigating a crash that killed one person late Friday night in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Officers were called to the major accident near the intersection of Ellis Avenue and NW 24th Street about 11:45 p.m. A motorcycle heading north on Ellis Avenue crashed into the side of a car that had just pulled out from a stop sign, police said.
The motorcyclist was killed. It’s not clear if anyone else was injured in the accident.
The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing, police said. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet publicly identified the person who died.
