Dutch Bros agreed to purchase 65 shuttered Salad and Go locations for $105 million.
HOUSTON — Fast-growing drive-thru beverage chain Dutch Bros entered into an agreement to purchase 65 shuttered Salad and Go locations across Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Oklahoma, including two in the Houston area, according to documents filed with U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Salad and Go, formerly based in Coppell, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston on Aug. 4 and then announced all its stores would close at the end of business on Aug. 5.
Tempe, Arizona-based Salad and Go filed a motion with the court Aug. 5 to approve the sale of its real estate and leases for dozens of locations to Dutch Bros. The Houston-area locations are at 21021 Highland Knolls Drive in the Katy area and at 18830 Noble Seven Land in Sugar Land — both are right by Starbucks locations.
