The owners say private events will still be hosted at the same location through another entity.
DALLAS — Texas Ale Project, a Dallas-based brewery that’s been open since 2014, is closing its doors for good after this Saturday.
In a Facebook post, the owners gave little explanation for the closure, only that they have decided to close.
“Since opening our doors in 2014, our mission has always been about more than beer,” the post reads. “It has been about bringing people together and building enjoyment. What started as a dream became a gathering place where friendships were formed, milestones were celebrated, ideas were shared, and countless pints were raised among family, neighbors, and strangers who quickly became friends.”

The owners expressed their gratitude for its customers, distributors, partners, musicians, vendors, food trucks and team members throughout the years.
“While this chapter is coming to an end, we’re embarking on new ones, and the memories we’ve created together will last far beyond our final pour,” the post states. “We look back in awe of the support we had and with sincere appreciation for everyone who helped make Texas Ale Project what it became.”
The taproom will still be open until closing time this Saturday for anyone wanting to grab one more beer or six-pack, or fill one more growler.
