Police said officers responded to a disturbance with a weapon on Eldon Drive, where they found a woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 46-year-old man was arrested early Thursday after a woman was injured during a reported family violence incident at a Corpus Christi home, according to police.

The Corpus Christi Police Department said officers were called to the 400 block of Eldon Drive around 12:29 a.m. Thursday for a report of a disturbance involving a weapon.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

After investigating, police arrested the man on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family violence.

Police have not released additional details about what led to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
