Slumping Orioles aim for first win of the road trip in series finale against the Rangers
On a four-game winning streak, the Texas Rangers return home to Globe Life Field on Sunday afternoon for a matinee matchup against the Baltimore Orioles in search of a series sweep and their second consecutive series win. The Orioles have dropped three games in a row and five of their last seven as they send southpaw Cade Povich (2-1, 3.91 ERA) to the mound in his second start since returning to the rotation following an elbow issue that caused him to miss nearly three months of the season. Texas will counter with Kumar Rocker (4-8, 4.08 ERA), who has won two consecutive starts at home, allowing a combined two earned runs while posting 13 strikeouts in that span.

A two-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, Pederson collected his 1,000th career hit earlier this season, becoming one of 63 active players to achieve that milestone.
