EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two vehicles were set on fire early Christmas morning in an East El Paso neighborhood, and investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects.
The El Paso Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Office said that on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, at 4:09 a.m., two men were recorded setting fire to a 2021 Cadillac Escalade and a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 in the 12100 block of Saint Armand. Investigators said the suspects fled the scene and returned 10 minutes later to reignite and accelerate the fires.
Arson investigators said the men had filled water bottles with gas at a Circle K store at 1600 N. Zaragoza.
Investigators described the first suspect as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, with an average build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket and blue denim jeans. The second suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
The suspects were driving a four-door car, possibly a Toyota or Lexus, with dents on the doors, investigators said.
