Officials said no injuries were reported.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department is investigating after responding to a house fire just west of downtown Sunday morning.

Fire crews were called to the 2500 block of Tampico Street around 9:20 a.m., for a reported structure fire.

Officials said that upon arrival, flames could be seen coming from an add-on structure behind the home. The fire started outside of the structure and had worked its way in. Crews were able to knock down the fire and no injuries were reported.

According to SAFD, the add-on structure was significantly damaged. The main house sustained no damage, but a nearby shed had some charring. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
