DALLAS, Texas — If you bought a Powerball ticket for Saturday night’s drawing, you should double check your numbers!
A $2 million winning ticket was purchased at the Tom Thumb grocery store near NorthPark Center. They were the highest prize winner in Texas, alongside more than 140,000 other tickets that won prizes ranging from $4 all the way up to $150,000
The numbers that were drawn are as follows: 5-9-35-54-63 rounded out with a red 7 Powerball.
While it was not the full $856 million jackpot prize, the ticket matched all 5 numbers with the power play bonus active, netting the $2M prize.
According to the Texas Lottery website, the ticket must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Due to the size of the prize, the winner will need to visit a local claim center or take a trip to the Texas Lottery headquarters in Austin before Feb. 4, 2027.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, August 10, with an estimated jackpot of $905 million.
