SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio police lieutenant was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated while off duty, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Lt. Benjamin Flores was arrested Sunday, Aug. 9, by the Helotes Police Department.
Flores, a 25-year veteran of the department, is assigned to SAPD’s Patrol Division. He has been placed on administrative duty following the arrest.
SAPD said it has opened an administrative investigation into the incident.
