LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to reports of a fire near Clovis Road and Avenue Q early Tuesday morning.
Just after 4 a.m., firefighters arrived to smoke and flames coming from the building.
Crews immediately began battling the fire, however, due to the flames and the possibility of a structural collapse, firefighters were forced to exit the building.
A short time later, crews were able to safely enter the building again and were able to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.
The Lubbock Fire Marshals Office is now working to determine how the fire started.
