Police investigate stabbing at Plano hotel overnight, officials say

A woman was stabbed or cut at a Plano hotel overnight, police said. Officers are investigating the incident.

PLANO, Texas — Plano police are investigating a stabbing that occurred overnight at a Comfort Inn, officials said. 

Officers were called to a stabbing around 3:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of Old Shepherd Place, according to the Plano Police Department. When police arrived, they found a woman had been stabbed or cut in the neck, officials said. 

The victim was taken to the hospital, and her condition is unknown, police said. Any additional information, including what led up to the stabbing, was not immediately available.
