A lottery winner will take home $26,750,000 from a Lotto Texas ticket that was sold at a Houston area fuel station for Monday night’s drawing.
The ticket was sold at a Murphy USA gas station in Angleton, a town located about 40 miles south of Houston with a population of about 20,000 people.
The purchased ticket matched all six of the winning numbers: 15, 16, 25, 28, 38 and 53.
According to the Texas Lottery website, winning tickets must be claimed no later than 180 days after the draw date and a presented ticket is not considered valid until it is presented for payment and meets the Texas Lottery’s validation requirements.
The estimated annuitized jackpot for the next Lotto Texas drawing on Wednesday night is now $5 million with an estimated cash value of $2.64 million.
Lotto Texas tickets are $1 per play, and an additional $1 for the “Extra!” add-on feature for a chance to increase your non-jackpot prizes up to $10,000, according to the Texas Lottery website.
After buying a ticket, players are prompted to select six numbers from 1 to 54, or choose “Quick Pick” to have the terminal pick the numbers.
Lotto Texas drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m.
