SAN ANTONIO — District 7 Councilmember Marina Alderete Gavito is inviting residents to join her and council colleagues from across the city in celebrating San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus and thanking him for his many years of service.
The farewell celebration for McManus will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Paul’s Hall, 1201 Donaldson Ave.
The evening will honor McManus’ legacy of leadership and dedication to keeping the San Antonio community safe.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Acting Police Chief Jesse Salame.
The event is open to all.
