What’s all at stake tonight? Here’s the rundown
Things have gotten really interesting heading into tonight’s regular-season finales. In a nutshell, here are some quickie playoff scenarios around Central Texas heading into tonight’s games:
• District 26-5A: Vandegrift and Hutto are already in. Round Rock gets in if its beats Vandegrift. McNeil is in if it beats Hutto. If Vista Ridge beats Westwood, there might be a two- or even three-way tie for the final two spots.

• District 26-6A: We already know Lake Travis (Division I), Dripping Springs (DII), Westlake (DII) and Bowie (DI) are the playoff teams. Tonight’s Westlake-Dripping Springs game will determine which gets the top DII spot; one of them will draw defending Class 6A DII state champion Vandegrift in bi-district.
• District 8-5A DI: Georgetown and Cedar Park are in. East View (4-2), Lake Belton (3-3) and Rouse (3-3) are fighting for the final two spots. East View is in if it beats Leander. Lake Belton would be the final playoff team if its beats Killeen Chaparral. Rouse needs to beat Glenn and have Chaparral lose to get in.
• District 11-5A DII: Friday’s Liberty Hill-Bastrop game is for the district title. Pflugerville is also already in the playoffs. McCallum can nab the final spot if it beats Crockett or if Pflugerville beats Connally.
• District 12-4A DI: LBJ and Taylor are in. Manor New Tech can join them if it beats Northeast or if Taylor beats Travis. Eastside needs Taylor to beat Travis.
