A 42-year-old man died Sunday after driving off the roadway and into a ditch, Arlington police said. His death is under investigation.
ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is investigating after a 42-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a crash around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, in the 2000 block of East Road to Six Flags Street, the Arlington Police Department said in a press release.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a 42-year-old man unresponsive in a car that apparently went off the roadway and into a ditch, according to the release. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.
The victim was the only person in the car, officers said.
It’s not clear why the man’s vehicle left the roadway; investigators have not ruled out a medical episode causing the crash, police said.
