SAN ANTONIO – On August 13, one lucky winner will drive away with an all-new car!

At 10 p.m. on Thursday, one lucky person who bought a ticket in support of Drive Away For Education will win an all-new vehicle, courtesy of Ancira!

The Grand Prize was claimed by Belinda Puente of San Antonio. Ricard Pena was selected as the winner of a $4,000 shopping spree, and Kevin Ward of Boerne was selected to win the $2,500 gas card.

In total, ticket sales climbed up to $442,000 dollars, all of which will go to support students through the Texas Yes Project, providing essential supplies like backpacks and stationery.

Following the announcement, Danielle, April, and Chris Suchan of News 4 made live phone calls to each winner to congratulate them and explain that follow-up emails regarding prize redemption and photo opportunities would be sent within the next few days.

The last day to purchase tickets was Sunday, August 9.

Here’s your chance to support thousands of students across San Antonio– and you could drive home in a new car or truck. It’s our ‘Drive Away for Education’ campaign.

Money raised from raffle ticket sales go toward ‘Texas Yes’ who help provide school supplies to students.

One ticket costs $25 dollars, three are $50, and 10 tickets are $100. For every $25 raffle ticket purchased, three students will receive free school supplies.

In addition to giving away a car, you also have a shot at winning a $4,000 shopping spree or a $2,500 gas card.

The grand prize winner will choose between six brand new vehicles including a 2026 Chevy Siverado, a 2026 Volkswagen Atlas, a 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz, a 2026 Jeep Wrangler, a 2026 Kia Sorento, or a 2026 Nissan Frontier. The vehicles are valued between $47,000 and $63,000.

The second-place winner will win a $4,000 Shopping Spree and the third-place winner will win a $2,500 Gas Card.
