Investigators with the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed a new timeline detail in the search for missing 38-year-old Aryssa Leann Torres of Alice, Texas.
According to authorities, security video and school personnel confirmed Torres was last seen mid-day on Monday, Aug. 10, at Vogel Elementary School on FM 725.
Torres was previously seen on Saturday, Aug. 8, around 7 p.m. near Curry and O’Daniel roads in southern Guadalupe County, where she told deputies checking on her that she was training for a marathon and staying at a nearby Airbnb.

On Thursday, Aug. 13, investigators located Torres’ car, phone, and personal belongings abandoned at Amazing Grace Baptist Church on TX-123, south of Seguin. Investigators noted that handwritten messages found inside the vehicle suggest Torres may be experiencing a mental health crisis. Sheriff’s deputies stated there are currently no signs of foul play.
Torres is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 118 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a mole on her back and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and black shorts. She wears a gold Class of 2010 Texas A&M Aggie ring and may be wearing a gold necklace with a rhinestone pendant.
