The San Antonio Police Department said a man was hospitalized after being found with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Southwest Loop 410 after receiving reports of a shooting.
Preliminary reports from SAPD suggest a man in his 30s or 40s was found with a gunshot wound to his leg near an Oyo Hotel on the west side.
Police say the shooting did not take place at the hotel.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
