Southbound I-37 reduced to one lane for emergency repairs

SAN ANTONIO – Part of a major highway has been reduced to one lane as crews work to perform emergency repairs.

Around 2 p.m. on Friday, TxDOT San Antonio announced that the Southbound lanes of I-37 had been reduced to one lane from Carolina St. to New Braunfels Ave.

The closure is reportedly to conduct emergency repairs on the roadway. Travelers are told to find an alternate route or expect delays.
