First responders from Fort Worth, Haslet and Saginaw were on scene of a house fire Friday morning. A dog died in the fire.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Three departments worked a structure fire in Tarrant County on Aug. 14, where a dog died, and two people, including a firefighter, were treated for heat exhaustion.
It was an accidental fire that started in the garage, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department. Strong south winds helped accelerate the fire, causing it to spread throughout the rest of the home, officials say.
Helicopter footage showed a single-family home still burning just before 1 p.m. and multiple units on scene.

Officials say crews will remain on scene to put out hot spots. First responders from Haslet and Saginaw were also on scene.
