Starting Monday, Aug. 17, eastbound and westbound I-20 will be fully closed at Anglin Drive nightly through Aug. 21, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., for construction activity.
All traffic at the Anglin Drive closure will be detoured to the frontage road.
Westbound I-20 will also be closed at the I-820 interchange during the same time frame on Aug. 17. Traffic will be detoured to U-turn at Martin Street.
Alternate routes are advised. The speed limit throughout the Southeast Connector corridor has been reduced to 55 mph. South-Point Constructors recommends that drivers plan accordingly and add extra time to their commute.
