EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A jackknifed semitruck is snarling traffic Sunday evening, Aug. 16 along Interstate 10 in Central El Paso.

The Texas Department of Transportation says all lanes of westbound traffic are closed along I-10 at Paisano. The left two eastbound lanes were closed for several hours but reopened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Major backup is being reported going westbound. Clearing time is estimated to be until further notice.
No backup is reported for eastbound traffic.
A Fire Department spokesman said that one person was transported with minor injuries. Some diesel fuel has also been spilled, necessitating the lane closures, the fire official added.
We will update this story when we learn more more.
